What is your favorite piece of jewelry you own and why? I have a passion for solo travel, and travel in general, which was heavily influenced by my mother and grandmother’s adventurous spirits. I’m reminded of this whenever I wear my grandmother’s Aphrodite ring that she bought during her travels through Greece and also my necklace that my mother bought while living in Finland.
What is the best thing about working on Wonderful King Street? After moving to Charleston from NYC, and growing up in Michigan, I am never sick of sunny Charleston and wonderful King Street. The palm tree-lined street decorated with shops, restaurants, and historic homes leads you straight to the ocean.

Favorite night out? The food scene in Charleston is outstanding! I love dinner at Post House Inn, Little Jacks, or 167 Raw and wine at Graft Wine Shop.
Tell us a random fact people would be surprised to know about you: I love to write music and sing. When I was little, I was that kid at recess who would hang out with the teachers and perform my new songs for them.
Tell us a surprising fact you have learned since working at Croghan’s: I’ve really enjoyed when jewelry designers that we carry at Croghan’s talk to our team in-depth about their lines. Single Stone’s founders Ari and Corina did this recently and it was fascinating to learn about the bespoke pieces that they have created for clients to truly make the jewelry personal and meaningful.
Tell us a funny moment at 308 Wonderful King Street that still makes you laugh out loud: I am always laughing at Croghan’s and my desk is in a spot where I hear absolutely everything. One moment that stands out is Betsy explaining her love for the word “credenza” and I have been surprised just how much this word comes up in everyday conversation at Croghan’s. The way Betsy says this word with so much passion makes me very happy.
What are your 4 favorite items on our site and why?
1. Victorian 3-Stone Diamond Engraved 18K Gold Ring: I am in love with Old European cut diamonds, so this ring is one of my favorites. It has beautiful hand engraved detail surrounding the 3 stones and I love how this ring looks on a middle or pointer finger.
2. Estate Sapphire & Diamond 18K Gold Rope Twist Bracelet: It is hard to beat a sapphire, gold, and diamond combination in my eyes. This estate bracelet with the woven twist design is timeless.
3. Elizabeth Locke Wide Venetian Glass Intaglio Bangle: The colors in the Venetian glass intaglios on this bracelet are even more vibrant in person. I love how the gold also pops, on all of Elizabeth Locke’s pieces, because she uses 19K gold.
4. Single Stone Tisha Drop Earrings: The Old European diamonds that Single Stone uses in their pieces are stunning and hold so much character. I love the platinum/gold mountings on these earrings and the way that they hang when they are on.
